Job Description:

Indagare is seeking a Membership Senior Associate to join our team. The Membership Senior Associate is responsible for handling client inquiries and acquisition for Indagare Custom Planner membership, as well as Custom Planner client engagement. Membership Senior Associate reports directly to the Membership Director. This role is a great chance for a candidate to develop their client-facing skills and strategic thinking in a fast-paced and dynamic organization, all while pursuing their passion for travel. This role is an integral part of the Membership department’s growth and success.

Job Responsibility:

  • PROSPECTING AND OUTREACH: Respond to qualified inbound requests for information about Indagare’s products
  • qualifying and converting leads to members and group trip participants
  • MEMBER EXPERIENCE: Deliver a superlative customer experience to potential new Indagare Self Planner members as well as our existing member base
  • SALES: Achieve assigned monthly and yearly revenue goals
  • ENGAGEMENT: Work with Associate Director of Engagement and the Hotel Reservations Specialists to facilitate member upgrades and winbacks
  • COMPLIANCE: Maintain member profile compliance in Salesforce to ensure seamless internal communication and client experience
  • STRATEGY: Generate ideas and strategies to add value to membership, drive referrals and thoughtfully grow our member base
  • CONSUMER INSIGHTS: Track trends and surface the voice of the customer to ensure that Indagare’s products and communication strategies align with consumer demand, working cross-functionally with group trips, bookings, and business development departments
  • MARKETING: Partner with Marketing teammates to identify and implement ways to improve our acquisition and onboarding processes
  • ONBOARDING: Collaborate with Associate Membership Acquisition Manager to develop sales scripts, standard operating procedures, and supplementary materials
  • provide resources to external sales force as needed
  • SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES: Manage membership inbox distribution, Work with trip-planning partners to ensure the best initial member experience, strengthening this on-going relationship across the teams and improving the internal client hand-off
  • CORE VALUES: Uphold Indagare’s core values and represent the department proudly internally and externally

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in a membership or sales role
  • Experience with sophisticated, affluent, and upscale clientele preferred
  • Ability to determine sale type (light touch v. hard sale) in real time, based on interactions and communications with potential clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial, high performance environment and deliver results
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, presentation, project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a positive, focused, organized, diligent and resilient mentality
  • Must have a passion for travel
