Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Membership Applications Executive to join a leading organisation within the travel industry. This is a key role supporting prospective members through the full application journey, acting as their main point of contact from initial enquiry through to becoming a live member. You will play a vital part in ensuring each applicant receives a seamless, professional and supportive experience, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, timely and high quality application files. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven environment, enjoys problem solving and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support new applicants throughout the full membership application process, from initial receipt to activation
  • Review and assess application documentation, preparing files for internal review
  • Support the successful Membership Council approval process
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners such as banks and insurance providers
  • Conduct initial conversations with potential new members, representing the organisation professionally and confidently
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records across internal systems throughout the application cycle
  • Build strong cross departmental knowledge to confidently discuss membership benefits and services
  • Assist the Head of department with preparing and presenting application files
  • Identify new membership opportunities and maintain awareness of competitor activity
  • Attend networking events when required to engage with prospective members and promote the brand

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the travel industry is essential
  • Strong decision making ability with excellent problem solving skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding service
  • Proactive, solutions focused and comfortable liaising with colleagues and external partners at all levels
  • Strong IT skills and accuracy in maintaining systems and records
