Membership and Food & Beverage Reservations Manager or Assistant Membership and Food & Beverage Reservations Manager is responsible for the overall management of Membership and F&B reservation Department, understanding and applying the principles of F&B reservation occupancy and rate to achieve maximum revenue. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Service department, reporting into the assistant Director of Food and Beverage.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare with the F&B Sales team, a yearly marketing plan which is in line with the Food and Beverage annual marketing plan
Works closely with other outlet managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
Ensures that F&B - Sales associates work in a supportive and flexible manner with other Food and Beverage departments
Ensure that the F&B Sales operations are aligned with the respective Hotel Strategy, and that the Hotel regulations have been appropriately implemented
Assists in the recruitment and selection of F&B - Sales associates
Adheres to hotel guidelines when recruiting and uses a competency-based approach to selecting employees
Ensures that all associates deliver the Four Seasons brand promise and always provide outstanding guest service
Maximizes associate's productivity throughout the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests
Focus attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility and payroll costs within acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment
Be knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations, understanding and strictly adhering to Rules & Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the Hotel’s policies concerning fire, hygiene and health & safety
Requirements:
A minimum of five years of administrative experience, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant related field or other equivalent experience is required
Mandarin speaking is required

Requires a working knowledge of the Food & Beverage aspect of Four Seasons services, policies or operations and general knowledge of the hotel
Requires knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment including word processing and spreadsheet software
Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Has a working knowledge of Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
Has a solid knowledge and understanding of F&B Operations, food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
Has good business acumen, a strong work ethic and people-management and facilitation skills
Has strong leadership and interpersonal skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation
Is proactive, hands on and able to operate autonomously
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Chinese language
Has a positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
Has the ability to anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest proactively
Flexible with his/her schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
