We are looking for someone with excellent organisation, customer service, conflict resolution and administration skills for our member support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of our outgoing and incoming calls. This will include, making outbound contact calls, call screening including but not limited to – member joins, providing general union information, taking subscription payments and general office administrative duties where required.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure efficient follow up of allocated outbound calls – unfinanical follow up, welcome calls, updating member details etc.
Answer incoming calls
Processing membership subscription payments
Maintain membership database records and ensure data integrity
Respond to inquiries relating to membership and undertake routine follow-up calls
Liaise with staff in branch offices in maintaining membership records
Assist in general office administrative activities
Provide backup to other membership staff positions and undertake other duties as requested
Requirements:
Experience working in a membership administration or customer service role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent telephone manner
Experience in database maintenance and office computer applications, such as Word and Excel
Well organised, able to prioritise work, apply a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Understanding of customer relationship management
Ability to work independently and flexibly in a small team environment
