Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Member Services Representative to join our team in Pasadena, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in assisting members with their financial needs while delivering exceptional service and personalized solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to account management, sales, and operational tasks, ensuring a seamless member experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist members in opening, managing, and closing a variety of accounts, including consumer and business accounts
  • Process financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency while maintaining high service standards
  • Address member inquiries and resolve issues, escalating complex matters with thoughtful recommendations as needed
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date account information in internal systems
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional financial products and services tailored to member needs
  • Meet or exceed individual performance goals in both service and sales metrics
  • Manage cash operations, including balancing, replenishing funds, and adhering to policy guidelines
  • Perform transactions requiring higher approval levels, such as check negotiations within authorized limits
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies through regular training and adherence
  • Travel to nearby branch locations to provide operational and service support when required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in retail banking, financial services, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent service
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems
  • Familiarity with financial institution operations and products is preferred
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards within the financial services industry
