Job Responsibility:

  • Serving as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow
  • performing routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing
  • assisting members in the opening and closing of accounts
  • balancing the teller drawer at the end of the day
  • supporting Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) operations and serving as a knowledgeable resource
  • promoting and cross-selling Pelican products and services to members to fit their financial needs
  • performing other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience
  • a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
  • strong problem-solving and member service skills
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • comfortable in a sales environment
  • availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • ability to assist members with various financial transactions
  • no travel required
  • able to work at the St. Jules Branch at 1600 N Bertrand Dr, Lafayette, LA
