Join the Radisson Blu Sligo as our next Meetings & Events Manager. We have a fantastic remuneration package on offer for an experienced hospitality professional looking for an exciting leadership role in Meetings & Events Operations. We are currently seeking a Meetings & Events Manager to lead and oversee the seamless execution of all meetings, conferences, and events at Radisson Blu Sligo. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate the Meetings & Events Operations function while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving event revenue.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily Meetings & Events Operations
  • Collaborate with the sales and reservations teams to drive bookings and maximise revenue
  • Lead and motivate a dedicated Meetings & Events Operations team to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensure meeting and function spaces are prepared to the highest standards
  • Supervise food & beverage service during events, maintaining brand quality
  • Proactively handle guest feedback and implement improvements
  • Develop strategies with the Director of Sales to grow event revenue
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain operational excellence

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Meetings & Events role within a 4-star+ hotel or venue
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Track record of success in event sales and operations
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • In-depth knowledge of event setups, F&B standards, and operations

Nice to have

  • Formal leadership qualification or industry accolades
  • Previous experience with a recognised hospitality brand like Radisson Blu Sligo
