We are currently seeking a Meetings & Events Manager to lead and oversee the seamless execution of all meetings, conferences, and events at Radisson Blu Sligo. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate the Meetings & Events Operations function while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving event revenue.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and coordinate the daily Meetings & Events Operations
Collaborate with the sales and reservations teams to drive bookings and maximise revenue
Lead and motivate a dedicated Meetings & Events Operations team to deliver exceptional service
Ensure meeting and function spaces are prepared to the highest standards
Supervise food & beverage service during events, maintaining brand quality
Proactively handle guest feedback and implement improvements
Develop strategies with the Director of Sales to grow event revenue
Conduct regular audits to maintain operational excellence
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Meetings & Events role within a 4-star+ hotel or venue
Proven leadership and people management skills
Track record of success in event sales and operations
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
Strong communication and customer service skills
In-depth knowledge of event setups, F&B standards, and operations
Nice to have:
Formal leadership qualification or industry accolades
Previous experience with a recognised hospitality brand like Radisson Blu Sligo
