We are now recruiting a Meetings & Events Executive – a vacancy that has arisen due to an internal promotion, highlighting our commitment to nurturing talent and supporting long-term careers in hospitality. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, customer-focused professional to support our growing Meetings & Events (M&E) department. You will play a key role in converting enquiries, coordinating event details, and ensuring a seamless experience for corporate clients, conference organisers, and social event hosts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage incoming M&E enquiries, ensuring fast, accurate and professional responses
  • Convert leads into confirmed bookings, maximising revenue opportunities
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders in line with hotel standards
  • Liaise closely with the Operations, Sales and Food & Beverage teams to deliver flawless events and exceptional guest service
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure repeat business
  • Support the wider Sales team with site inspections, show rounds and promotional activities
  • Ensure all event details are communicated clearly to internal departments
  • Contribute to forecasting and revenue reporting as required

Requirements:

  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience, ideally within Sales, Events, M&E or Front Office
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using hotel systems (Opera / Delphi / similar) is an advantage
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and exceeding expectations
