As a Meetings and Events Assistant manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating exceptional gatherings and celebrations for our guests. From corporate meetings to weddings and everything in between, you will oversee the execution of each event with precision and care, ensuring that every detail is flawlessly executed.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the M&E Manager to understand clients' needs and customise event packages accordingly
  • Liaise with various departments within the hotel to ensure seamless execution, including catering, housekeeping, and audiovisual services
  • Supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring that all spaces are prepared to the highest standards
  • Lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Handle any issues or concerns that arise during events, resolving them promptly and professionally

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
