Job Description:

As Meeting & Events Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting and executing all Meetings & Events business within the hotel (including weddings, parties, wakes and conferences) and as an ambassador to the hotel, you will be an expert on all the facilities on offer with the ability to advise guests based on their individual needs. You will also record and process all enquiries that are made by phone, email, or face to face to ensure all guests are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner. You will work with your teammates and liaise with the wider hotel team to ensure all leads are followed and departmental targets and individual KPI's are met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Promote and execute all Meetings & Events business within the hotel (including weddings, parties, wakes and conferences)
  • Act as an ambassador and expert on all hotel facilities
  • Advise guests based on their individual needs
  • Record and process all enquiries made by phone, email, or face to face
  • Ensure all guests are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Work with teammates and liaise with the wider hotel team
  • Ensure all leads are followed and departmental targets and individual KPI's are met

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel setting essential
  • Excellent communication skills (writing and verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage budgets and schedules
