Job Description

The town of Wellesley is looking for a full-time Medium Equipment Operator for the Highway division. The incumbent operates and maintains vehicles and equipment; performs semi-skilled building and construction work on streets, sidewalks, catch basins, etc.; and is required to participate in snow removal, ice control, standby, emergency, and call-in duty. Ensure proper operation of all equipment and follow all required safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid MA Class B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements

  • proficiency in the operation of Class B vehicles and medium equipment
  • ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions and use hand and power tools
