Orbis have partnered with a leading Dutch financial institution investing heavily in ML-driven innovation. They are seeking a Medior Data Scientist with strong engineering capabilities to develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade machine learning models. This role is ideal for Data Scientists who enjoy taking ownership of models end-to-end, thrive in collaborative environments, and are motivated by building scalable ML solutions that move from prototype to production in an enterprise setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade machine learning models
  • Work across the full ML lifecycle, from data exploration and feature engineering to deployment and monitoring
  • Deliver scalable, reliable solutions within a collaborative, DevOps-driven environment

Requirements

  • Machine Learning & Modelling: Tree-based models, clustering models, statistical modelling
  • Programming & Engineering: Python, PySpark, production-ready coding practices
  • Data & Platforms: Databricks, ETL pipelines, data lakes, databases
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure (preferred), Git, CI/CD pipelines, MLOps practices
