Job Description

As the Medical Writer you will be reporting directly to one of our Medical Leads. You’ll work closely with other members of the Creative, Strategy, Account service and Project Management teams to develop engaging, medically and scientifically accurate communications tailored to the audience. Your audience will range from healthcare professionals to patients and carers.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate complex medical/scientific concepts into clear, concise copy
  • Create branded HCP campaign materials including websites, detail aids, leave behinds, emails
  • Create HCP medical education campaign materials including slide decks, invites, workbooks, and other collateral
  • Drive the editorial process from first draft to final proof
  • ensure accuracy and quality
  • Partner with design, strategy, account, and project management teams
  • Ensure all content is on-brand and Code-compliant
  • Attend scientific meetings, advisory boards, and client meetings
  • Contribute research and content to proposals and pitch presentations
  • Stay up to date on current trends in medical education and pharma industry developments

Requirements

  • Graduate degree or PhD in sciences discipline
  • 2 years + medical writing experience
  • HCP pharmaceutical advertising agency experience is highly valued
  • Proven ability of working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
  • Knowledge of Veeva/PromoMats
