Job Description:

Medical Writer I position in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Temporary role. End-to-end ownership of abstract/congress/manuscript development, liaising with authors, literature search, publication planning, developing scientific publications, developing publication proposals, managing Datavision tool.

Job Responsibility:

  • End-to-end ownership of abstract/congress/manuscript development
  • Liaising with internal and external authors to develop and submit publications

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders for publication plans
  • Managing Datavision tool

Requirements:

  • End-to-end ownership of abstract/congress/manuscript development
  • To liaise with internal and external authors to develop and submit the various pub. vehicles
  • Perform a literature search and prepare the summary of systematic literature search
  • Perform publication planning tasks
  • Support in developing scientific publications such as attending author group call, preparing minutes, target journal/congress selection, performing dummy submissions with congress and journal websites, preparing encore congress presentations, performing data QC and editorial check, and writing abstracts
  • Develop the publication proposals in line with the standard template
  • To liaise with internal stakeholders to prepare extensive publication plan for the trial(s)
  • Manage the Datavision tool as required for a medical writer (Monitor for author comments/congress deadlines)
  • 6 years of experience
