Job Responsibility

Providing age appropriate care to assigned patients: medical, surgical, pediatric, geriatric, emergency, same day surgery, swing bed, outpatients, respite
Applying knowledge of basic growth and development in patient care
Incorporating knowledge of the nursing process in the performance of patient assessments
Providing care based on the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient
Monitors and interprets patient status/information based on knowledge of growth, development and age
recognizes basic changes based on data collected and keeps RN and medical provider informed
Provision of care is consistent with evidence based practices and principles of infection control
Prioritizes, initiates and completes appropriate interventions based on patient need
Evaluates patient response to action plan and intervenes appropriately
