Job Description:

The Medical Scribe role supports primary care providers with clinical documentation during patient care journeys, including observing and documenting patient visits, assisting with accurate documentation, and supporting daily huddles and clinical workflows.

Job Responsibility:

Documenting patient encounters
joining provider in the exam room
assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes
preparing after-visit summaries
requesting and reviewing medical records
leveraging population health tools
consulting on clinical documentation opportunities
placing orders and referrals
addressing tasks
supporting care team.

Requirements:

Commit at least 1-2 years to the role
experience in clinical documentation
familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
interest in Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Medical Coding, or related fields.

Nice to have:

Interest in MD/DO/PA/NP programs
ability to support value-based care model.
