Job Description:

The Medical Scribe role at CVS Health supports primary care providers by assisting with clinical documentation to enhance patient care. Responsibilities include observing and documenting patient encounters, identifying care gaps, and supporting chronic condition management. This role offers extensive training and is ideal for individuals aiming for careers in healthcare or related fields.

Job Responsibility:

assist providers with clinical documentation
join providers in exam rooms to observe and document patient encounters
participate in morning huddles to plan visits
assist with care gap identification and follow-ups
gain expertise in value-based care and chronic condition management

Requirements:

ICD-10 and CPT coding expertise
ability to observe and document patient encounters in real-time
knowledge of value-based care model
experience in clinical workflows and care gap identification
commitment to a 1-2 year role
interest in pursuing careers in Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Medical Coding, PA/NP/MD/DO programs

Nice to have:

interest in preventive care and chronic condition management
