Role: Medical Scientist – Blood Transfusion Location: Dublin Job Type: Full-Time Permanent  Salary : €43,892 – €72,938 TTM Healthcare Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Medical Scientist in Blood Transfusion in one of Europe’s most technologically advanced private hospitals. The lab was recently accredited by the National Accreditation Board and is under new ISO standards. The Laboratory has been equipped with the latest in automated, high quality and technologically advanced equipment in Ireland. The team consists of highly qualified and dedicated scientists and pathologists.  The Role  : To assist in routine processing and co-ordinating the Laboratory service in accordance with the mission, values, vision and strategic plan of the Hospital. This role will require the ability to also work in Haematology, to be competent in performing laboratory tests and responsible for processing and authorising under the direction of the Chief Medical Scientist and Laboratory Manager.

Requirements

  • Valid CORU registration
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines
  • Experience in Blood Transfusion essential
  • Post qualification experience desirable
  • Have partaken in on-call rotas desirable
