Job Responsibility:

  • Maximize the value of Pfizer products to Chinese patients and health care professional within Pfizer’s vision and mission
  • Develop KOL engagement strategy and action plan
  • Establish regional platform and channel with China regional academic organization in defined therapeutic area for knowledge delivery and interaction
  • Build effective regional medical advisor interface and provide professional medical training to support filed force teams independently
  • Develop field based medical to medical communication and KOL engagement independently
  • Lead mapping/profiling of regional level KOLs
  • Develop medical to medical communication with regional level KOLs for knowledge delivery and interaction of defined therapeutic area and assigned products and gain insights
  • Establish good academic relationship with regional academic organization at defined therapeutic area
  • Organize and lead regional level medical to medical meeting with KOLs for knowledge delivery and interaction of defined therapeutic area and assigned products
  • Cooperate with local regional medical societies to conduct medical programs/conference to facilitate new concept and state of art medical progress’ introduction
  • Speak at medical communication meeting at national and regional level as needed
  • Enhance local data generation from medical aspect to maximize products’ value and long-term development
  • Discuss research concept with interested researcher and communicated the nature and requirement of Pfizer’s data generation
  • Facilitate submission of investigator initiated or collaboration pre-clinical and clinical proposals, and act as a liaison between Pfizer and researcher
  • Support in review and track new data generation projects independently with good quality and required timeline
  • Support Pfizer sponsored Non interventional study and other data generation projects if applicable
  • Drive regional medical strategy independently
  • Develop regional medical strategy for inline/pipeline product life cycle management
  • Collect, analyze and report timely regional medical insights to input on medical strategy and message development
  • Initiate and lead medical programs independently at regional level with internal and external customers to assist deliver medical strategy
  • Ensure company’s compliance
  • Support MAPP review to ensure educational/enterprise grants within medical compliance as needed
  • Support in review and approval of promotional materials as needed
  • Implement medical programs and activities within medical compliance
  • Comunicate medical information with compliance
  • Develop filed force team medical capability through internal medical training independently
  • Initiate and implement independently medical training to strengthen filed force colleagues’ product and therapeutic areas knowledge at regional level
  • Provide customized response for common medical queries in the field for assigned products

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher in clinical medicine in relevant therapeutic area
  • Good medical knowledge for the defined therapeutic area
  • Good understanding about pharmaceutical business
  • Proficiency in oral and written English
  • Good computer usage
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong business acumen
  • Cross functional leadership skill
  • Strong communication and influencing skill
  • Therapeutic area knowledge: familiar with the disease knowledge and clinical practice of the therapeutic area
