Job Responsibility:

  • Complete MSL onboarding and all educational/training programs
  • Execute US Medical Strategy through completion of aligned medical objectives and tactics
  • Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the therapeutic area
  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and other relevant healthcare providers
  • Conduct and/or aid in development of approved medical/scientific programs
  • Raise awareness of Hansa and research endeavors by engaging in scientific exchange
  • Gather and deliver medical insights to the broader matrix team
  • Support Professional Congress/Meeting Plans
  • Conduct internal disease state education, product education, and/or other clinical/scientific training programs
  • Actively provide scientific support/education for matrix team initiatives
  • Provide healthcare professionals with accurate, balanced, and timely responses to unsolicited requests for information
  • Coordinate with Clinical Research and Development and Clinical Operations to support recruitment for research protocols
  • Facilitate submission of Investigator Initiated Studies (IISs)
  • Continue to develop knowledge of the therapeutic area

Requirements:

  • Doctorate level degree in medical field or research required
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in field medical affairs and/or clinical experience in transplantation/immunology preferred
  • Ability to travel frequently is required (minimum 60% travel/week)
  • Effective presentation, written, and oral communication skills required
  • Ability to educate and deliver complex, scientific information with ease is required
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and adapt to a multicultural environment is required
