Job Description:

The MSL is a field-based medical colleague responsible for providing medical & scientific information and medical insight generation for the influenza landscape and CSL Seqirus vaccines in the assigned region of the Southeast focusing on the vaccines in-line and late-stage portfolio. The goal is to build credible and durable relationships with KOLs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Communicate new and other important approved medical content to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Vaccine health care professionals (HCPs)
  • Provide truthful, accurate and scientifically supported information in response to direct unsolicited medical requests from HCPs
  • Provide insights that contribute to the development of medical strategies
  • Provide internal Vaccines/product expertise for regional and other Medical Affairs and/or clinical development needs
  • Deliver presentations to payers, managed care organizations, formulary decision makers, professional society and government organization decision makers, and regional medical advisory boards
  • Facilitate communication between Vaccine HCPs, healthcare decision makers and headquarters Medical Affairs colleagues
  • Facilitate both Seqirus sponsored clinical trials, collaborative research, and investigator-initiated research activities in their regions

Requirements:

  • Advanced Scientific Degree (PharmD, Ph.D., D.O., MD)
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience presenting complex scientific data to a variety of audiences
  • Experience in infectious diseases, epidemiology, vaccines and public health is highly desirable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to operate a Seqirus company car and regularly fly on airplanes
