Advance patient care by bridging cutting‑edge pediatric oncology science with the experts who need it most. Proclinical is seeking a Medical Science Liaison specializing in pediatric oncology and rare diseases for the Western region of Germany. In this role, you will act as a scientific expert and trusted partner, building relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders to advance patient care and clinical research. This position requires a proactive approach to fostering partnerships, sharing medical insights, and supporting research initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a scientific expert on therapies and medications within the assigned therapeutic area
Provide accurate, non-promotional scientific information about approved and investigational products in response to healthcare professional inquiries
Build and maintain partnerships with external experts, including physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and scientific societies
Identify key external experts for collaboration and develop plans for long-term engagement
Support educational initiatives by training and assisting medical professionals on new therapies
Participate in scientific conferences and relay insights to internal teams
Facilitate clinical research opportunities, including non-interventional studies, registries, and epidemiological projects
Collaborate with internal teams to provide medical training and cross-functional support
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, data protection policies, and ethical standards
Requirements:
Strong ability to understand, process, and present scientific information effectively
Knowledge of GxP regulations, clinical trial processes, and ICH guidelines
Proficiency in project management, with the ability to manage complex tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently in the field while contributing positively to central medical affairs teams
Focused on building strong networks with healthcare professionals to maximize opportunities for patient care and organizational growth
High ethical standards and familiarity with industry codes of conduct
Willingness to travel as needed
Educational background in MD, PharmD, PhD, or other life sciences, with a solid medical and technical foundation
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
