Job Description

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will play a pivotal role in applying all our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. This is a critical role for Amgen, as you will be the face of our company in our meaningful collaborations with health care professionals, patient associations and other partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future Scientific Experts, cooperative (study) groups and study sites
  • Develop and implement local Scientific Experts engagement Plans, in line with local and international Scientific Expert strategy
  • Represent Amgen Medical department
  • Discuss scientific value messages, clinical outcome and patient benefits with Scientific Experts, hospital pharmacists, local payers and others in collaboration with your colleagues
  • Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal customers

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD, PharmD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training
  • Proven experience in industry (neurology, endocrinology or ophthalmology) or a related scientific field in academia
