Job Description

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) will be in charge of delivering updated scientific information to a broader group of healthcare professionals. The role will provide essential information which in most instances will be medical, but it can also be purely technical linked to other fields such as biology, pharmacoeconomic data, pharmacology, etcetera, with personal contact, visiting key physicians locally and around all the country, in fact, the main activities will be in a field work setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver updated scientific information to a broader group of healthcare professionals
  • Provide essential medical or technical information
  • Visit key physicians locally and around the country
  • Have constant cross functional interaction with different members of the Business Unit
  • Provide scientific information to health care providers and obtain insights
  • Engage in activities that support the strategic direction of a product
  • Be exposed to key decision makers
  • Transmit updated scientific information, research resources and business intelligence
  • Provide scientific information to HCPs to increase knowledge about disease, diagnosis and drug efficacy, safety and correct use
  • Be aware of the latest medical/scientific information
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with KOLs and academic centers
  • Develop specialized rising stars and opinion leaders
  • Prepare and develop scientific information and materials
  • Coordinate medical events
  • Participate in medical educational programs
  • Work with the Medical Manager to partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for treatment algorithms and guidelines
  • Collaborate to facilitate identification and presentation of research opportunities
  • Assist in implementation of local protocol development
  • Provide information to local experts
  • Serve as local medical scientific resource
  • Attend scientific meetings, review scientific journals

  • Intermediate to advanced command of English language, spoken and written.
