We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven professional to join our team as a Medical Science Liaison / Scientific Affairs Specialist. In this role, you will act as a trusted scientific partner, providing expert medical and product knowledge to internal and external stakeholders. You will engage with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and scientific communities to exchange insights, interpret clinical data, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Job Responsibility
Maintain a strong understanding of clinical conditions, disease states, therapies, treatment landscapes, and guidelines
Critically evaluate medical literature and clinical evidence, translating complex data into clear, balanced insights
Establish and maintain effective relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, and regulatory authorities
Act as a credible scientific resource, supporting evidence exchange both internally and externally
Gather and analyze insights on scientific, clinical, and industry trends through various engagement channels
Communicate complex scientific information in a clear, concise, and structured manner to diverse audiences
Collaborate cross-functionally across departments, regions, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals
Support internal teams with scientific and product expertise across a broad range of activities
Contribute to strategic decision-making and provide solutions to complex challenges within scope of responsibility
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, contributing to patient safety and company integrity
Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, positioning the company as a valued partner
Demonstrate adaptability, agility, and a proactive approach to professional development
Travel extensively (up to 70%) to support field engagement and stakeholder interactions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in health, medical, or life sciences
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospital setting, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry
Strong knowledge of clinical environments, disease states, and treatment practices
Proven ability to evaluate and interpret scientific and clinical data
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt style to different audiences
Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities across multidisciplinary and multicultural environments
Demonstrated decision-making skills with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance
High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
Business acumen and strategic mindset
Self-motivated, agile, and eager to learn and grow
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, English, and Arabic
