The core responsibility of the Medical Science Liaison is to act as a trusted scientific counterpart and partner to external clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. This field-based, non-promotional role focuses on building partnerships, engaging in peer-to-peer scientific exchange, and providing accurate, evidence-based information on disease states, treatment trends, and Norgine products. The role also supports research initiatives, internal training, and strategic insights to enhance patient care and business objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the field-based medical expert on Norgine therapies and disease areas
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical data, trials, and scientific developments
attend conferences and share insights with internal teams
Respond to unsolicited medical and technical inquiries from healthcare professionals with accurate, non-promotional information
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with External Experts (EEs), mapping and engaging key stakeholders for collaborative projects
Provide speaker training and scientific support to healthcare professionals
Identify and facilitate research opportunities aligned with Norgine’s development objectives, including non-interventional studies and investigator-sponsored trials
Support clinical site feasibility and liaise on IST submissions and contracting
Deliver medical training and cross-functional support to internal teams, including sales and market access
Bring scientific insights into the business to inform strategy and pipeline development
Ensure compliance with Norgine policies, industry codes, and applicable laws
Requirements:
Advanced degree in a scientific or medical field
Highly desirable: experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical industry
Desirable: Experience with oncology, paediatric oncology, or rare diseases
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
