We are seeking an experienced, Medical Sales Representative to help us strengthen and build relationships with referring GPs, Hospitals, and OBGYNs in Ontario. This award-winning fertility company was founded in 2016 and currently operates multiple fertility centres in southwest Ontario with plans to grow. As the Medical Sales Representative, you will combine your knowledge, charm align with superior sales skills to spearhead the development and implementation of our new and improved physician referral program. Starting with our existing database of doctors, you will systematically identify, engage, and convert physicians into new company referrers through a combination of email and phone outreach as well as in-person visits to third-party clinics. Part friendly ambassador and part rock star salesperson, this Medical Sales Representative position represents an exciting new role in the fertility field, with an opportunity for ample growth and development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop collaborative relationships with doctors to ensure clinic is top of mind for fertility treatments in Ontario, driving in leads into the company
  • Take ownership of strengthening our existing referral relationships
  • Drive the new doctor referring leads, resulting in conversion of booked treatments by establishing strong contacts, fostering relationships, effecting closing, following up, and comprehensively understanding Anova treatments and services- to achieve the highest possible conversation rates
  • Develop relationships with local thought leaders (Physicians, Family practices, Hospitals, Pharmacists and Nurses, Agencies) whose opinions and treatment regimen influence the practice of their colleagues
  • Deliver exceptional customer care and develop lasting rapport with doctors, associates, nurses ensuring that they remain highly satisfied with fertility treatments and clinic experience
  • Create, attend and host events for doctors as a company representative, either at a sponsored booth, or simply in person, to network and build new physician relationships
  • Organize, schedule, and implement company outreach efforts to potential referring physicians using email, phone calls, and in-person visits to targeted clinics
  • Accurately and efficiently record sales data, contacts, calls into data base for dashboards and record keeping
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of doctors, associates and clinics in client files
  • Sales-oriented person who thrives in exceeding sales targets by following up on potential sales and being knowledgeable about company products/services
  • Close sales by overcoming objectives and by explaining the benefits
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all services, treatments and products and services offered to effectively advise referring doctors
  • Excellent follow-up performance to increase sales
  • Prepare and submit sales reports daily, weekly & monthly into CRM, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer
  • Provide consistent communication and feedback in regard to service, events to CGO
  • Attend monthly sales meetings, and weekly sale meeting with CGO
  • Report activities daily and weekly to CGO
  • Hit and maintain KPI’s with elevating current referrals, and bringing on new ones
  • Represent Anova Fertility and its affiliated services and treatments in meeting and presentations to doctors
  • Deliver in-person information kits
  • Advise on inventory of information kits, proactively to ensure sales support product is always in stock
  • Keep accurate records of receipts for business for submission purposes
  • Create daily call and meeting strategies, actively seek and book appointment and luncheons
  • Build and maintain database of key referrals and relationships
  • Present marketing assets to clinics and doctors, explaining available treatment options through information kits
  • Ensure satisfaction of referral sources, cultivating ongoing business
  • Respond to client inquiries, conduct assessments, and convert prospects into long-term clients
  • Effectively communicate within the team to meet clients' needs and satisfaction
  • Provide active relationship management to our clients and referral partners
  • Provide support to key referrals, by acting as a liaison between the referrals and company
  • Report on all your business development efforts, tracking your referral efforts to quantify your efforts and for our strategic and financial planning purposes
  • Efficiently responding to doctor inquiries and questions
  • Scheduling meetings, appointments with potential and existing doctors
  • Coordinating sales efforts with current marketing programs
  • Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing doctors by providing excellent after-sales service
  • Follow up on all existing and leads generated by the company, by email and a personal call
  • Use booking system to automatically schedule & book appointments for all leads
  • Automatically schedule follow up on all leads of not closed to close
  • Maintain a database of doctor’s names, how many patients they have referred daily into CRM-Zoho
  • Take part in sales and marketing meetings with inside and outside sales members and consultants
  • Review advertising and marketing material in referral brochure kits, and advise if more are needed etc
  • Keeping abreast of new developments in the fertility field to determine the effect of such developments on the company's business strategies
  • Stay updated on doctor, industry, and market changes to pinpoint growth opportunities
  • Utilize effective presentation, closing, effective negotiation skills, market acumen, and knowledge of doctor and patient needs
  • Exhibit the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail, while working independently and within a team

Requirements:

  • College diploma or certificate
  • At least 10+ years of sales experience with medical experience preferred experience
  • Exceptional presentation, closing skills and networking skills
  • Current driver's license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel 70% of the time
  • Advanced working knowledge of Salesforce, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoho and virtual meeting technology (Zoom, Teams) CRM and EMR systems
  • Solid knowledge of sales and closing techniques
  • Superb public speaking capabilities
