Job Description:

The Medical Representative is a Field Force role, focused on the communication of branded promotional content for the Pfizer portfolio across multiple therapeutical areas. The Medical Rep should be knowledgeable of customer preferences for content and channels to orchestrate an ideal customer experience through relevant content selection. The Medical Rep will report to the Sales Manager. The Medical Representative is responsible for achieving the sales targets of defined products or product portfolios and for the continuous development of positive customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality, high-frequency engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs), to enhance patient outcomes and societal impact through our medicines and vaccines
  • Facilitate streamlined access to treatments

  • Execute targeting and segmentation strategies developed at the cluster and country level, ensuring that efforts are focused on the right HCPs and aligned with therapeutic area priorities
  • Demand generation across assigned portfolios
  • Deliver scientific messaging, handle objections, and tailor communications to local market dynamics and HCP needs
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Continuously improve in-call effectiveness through training and coaching
  • Comply with engagement metrics and coaching standards, supported by AI-driven insights to improve in-call effectiveness
  • Contribute to a feedback loop that informs tactical planning and strategic decisions as well as better pre-call planning
  • Collaborate with Country Portfolio Leads, medical teams and digital teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of delivering world-class scientific knowledge
  • Experience engaging externally with customers to impact
  • Demonstrated success in omnichannel customer interactions (face-to-face and digital)
  • Knowledge of local pharmaceutical laws and regulations is an advantage
  • Driving license required
  • must be able to drive a company car (car allowance not available)
