We are looking for a Medical Recruiter to join a healthcare team on a Contract basis. This role will focus on identifying, engaging, and recruiting nursing staff for outpatient settings while working closely with clinical leaders to address ongoing staffing demands. The ideal candidate brings strong recruiting expertise, sound judgment in evaluating healthcare talent, and the ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-moving environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for outpatient clinical positions, with an emphasis on nursing and allied care talent
Build candidate pipelines through targeted sourcing strategies, networking, referrals, and community engagement
Review applications, conduct candidate assessments, and determine alignment with both technical requirements and team culture
Arrange interviews, maintain consistent communication with applicants, and support candidates throughout each stage of the recruitment process
Partner with hiring managers and clinical leadership to understand workforce needs and adjust recruiting strategies accordingly
Monitor recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system and maintain accurate records, status updates, and hiring metrics
Help ensure each new team member meets applicable licensure, credentialing, and healthcare compliance standards before onboarding
Contribute to employer visibility initiatives that strengthen the organization’s ability to attract outpatient care professionals with relevant experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, including work in healthcare, nursing, or other clinical staffing environments
Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment and sourcing for multiple openings at the same time
Working knowledge of outpatient clinical roles such as RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and Medical Assistants
Familiarity with healthcare hiring regulations, credential verification, licensure standards, and related compliance practices
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced setting
Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms to manage candidates and measure recruiting progress
