Job Description:

Our client is undergoing a significant transition to the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, scheduled for implementation in June 2026. We are seeking highly detail-oriented and efficient Medical Records Integration Specialists to play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless data migration. This is a contract position focused on the critical task of identifying and merging duplicate Medical Record Numbers (MRNs) across multiple legacy systems, ensuring accurate and consolidated patient records within the new Epic environment.

Job Responsibility:

Review and analyze patient medical records across nine disparate systems to identify and resolve duplicate MRNs
accurately merge duplicate patient records into a single, comprehensive account within Epic
utilize multiple systems to access and manipulate patient data
maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while processing multiple records per hour
adhere to strict data privacy and security protocols (HIPAA compliance)
effectively communicate any discrepancies or issues to the project team
participate in required training and maintain proficiency in all relevant systems

Requirements:

Proven experience in medical records management or healthcare data integration
familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
excellent attention to detail and accuracy
ability to work efficiently and meet production targets
