Job Responsibility

  • Support the intake and preparation of medical records for scanning and digital storage
  • Operate scanning equipment to convert high volumes of paper records into electronic format
  • Organize and categorize incoming documents to ensure efficient processing
  • Review scanned records to ensure information is correctly assigned to the right patient and encounter
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in document indexing within the system
  • Perform quality checks before records are finalized and made available in the system
  • Work within electronic health record platforms to manage and upload documents
  • Assist in maintaining document workflows and resolving imaging or indexing issues
  • Contribute to maintaining organized and compliant document management processes
  • Partner with internal teams to address documentation questions or issues
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy standards and healthcare regulations
  • Support audit and compliance activities related to record accuracy and retention

Requirements

  • Background working in data entry, document processing, or administrative support
