Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Records Data Analyst, responsible for the management, retrieval, analysis, and reporting of data within SCMHC. This is a fully onsite role designed for a skilled Excel/Access user with strong experience in EMR/EHR systems and proven data reporting abilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organize, retrieve, and analyze data from the organization’s electronic medical record (EMR/EHR), specifically Credible Behavioral Health
  • Become the subject matter expert in our EMR/EHR and lead its adoption across the organization
  • Develop data solutions by integrating information from multiple data sources and applications
  • Create and manage data reports for both internal departments and external partners
  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly data uploads and submissions as required
  • Maintain data integrity and security, ensuring proper access controls are in place
  • Support end-users with EMR/EHR issues and troubleshoot data-related problems
  • Organize and deliver training for new hires and provide ongoing EMR/EHR training for all users
  • Participate in team meetings, additional training, and user support tasks as assigned by a supervisor

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access for data analysis and reporting
  • Hands-on experience working with EMR/EHR data, preferably Credible Behavioral Health or similar systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, managing, and interpreting data reports

Nice to have:

  • Experience in healthcare data management, records management, or non-clinical healthcare operations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise between management and IT departments
