Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, attentive manner and provide clear assistance with front-line inquiries
Receive and manage inbound calls, directing questions and concerns to the appropriate department or staff member
Gather patient demographic details and review documentation for completeness and accuracy during intake interactions
Confirm Medi-Cal insurance information and other required records to support timely patient processing
Serve as a communication bridge between care teams and Spanish-speaking patients to help ensure understanding
Maintain accurate records using customer service and office systems while following established procedures
Respond to service-related concerns with patience, care, and a solutions-focused approach
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a medical receptionist, customer service, or patient support environment
Ability to handle inbound calls efficiently while delivering a high level of customer care
Experience verifying Medi-Cal insurance information and managing documentation with strong attention to detail
Comfortable using customer service software and basic office tools in a fast-paced setting
Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to assist Spanish-speaking patients effectively
Detail-oriented demeanor and the ability to interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and medical staff
