Medical Receptionist

• Greet and check in patients and visitors warmly and professionally
• Manage patient appointments using the clinical system
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and patient queries promptly
• Verify ID, process payments, and maintain accurate records
• Handle prescriptions and liaise with third-party providers
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
• Support clinical staff with administrative and patient-related tasks
• Uphold confidentiality, infection control and regulatory standards
• Conduct chaperoning, stock control, equipment audits, and task management

• Previous experience in a reception or admin role is essential
• Excellent communication skills and a clear, polite telephone manner
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficient IT skills to handle various systems
• A positive and friendly persona that radiates warmth
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
