Robert Half is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join this hospital team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth check-in process and helping the hospital operate efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome patients and visitors, providing a positive first impression
Verify patient information, insurance, and process necessary forms
Schedule and manage appointments for multiple hospital departments
Answer multi-line phone system and route calls appropriately
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and patient files
Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support daily operations
Handle billing, co-pays, and insurance verification as needed
Keep front desk area organized, professional, and compliant with hospital policies
Requirements:
Previous experience as a medical receptionist, front desk, or administrative assistant in a healthcare or hospital environment
Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital procedures preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Nice to have:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
