We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts. Job Responsibility:
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls as needed
Schedule and manage patient appointments while maintaining an organized calendar
Collect co-payments and ensure accurate documentation of payment records
Send appointment reminders to patients to maintain timely attendance
Perform data entry tasks using basic Microsoft software to update and maintain patient information
Greet and check in patients, ensuring all necessary forms are completed
Coordinate with healthcare staff to facilitate efficient patient flow
Monitor and manage front desk operations to ensure a welcoming and organized environment
Requirements:
Previous experience in patient scheduling and front office operations within a medical or dental setting
Proficiency in receptionist duties, including answering calls and managing appointments
Familiarity with basic medical terminology and procedures
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Competency in using Microsoft Office for data entry and administrative tasks
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and staff
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism
