Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a detail-oriented and welcoming front-office experience
Manage patient scheduling efficiently, coordinating appointments and handling cancellations or rescheduling
Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting necessary documentation and payments
Maintain and update patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards
Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information and directing calls to the appropriate departments
Support the medical team by organizing and managing administrative tasks effectively
Monitor office supplies and ensure the reception area remains clean and well-organized
Utilize basic medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
Assist in coordinating insurance verifications and billing processes as needed
Address patient concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience in a medical front-office or receptionist role
Knowledge of patient scheduling systems and ability to manage appointments efficiently
Familiarity with basic medical terminology and healthcare administrative practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inquiries professionally
Attention to detail and organizational abilities for maintaining accurate patient records
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional certifications in medical administration are a plus
