We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist patients and visitors, delivering a positive and empathetic experience
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the check-in/out process
Verify patient information and insurance details
update records accurately
Maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health protocols
Collect payments, process billing information, and resolve basic patient inquiries
Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and offices
Adhere to patient confidentiality regulations and organizational policies
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 years previous experience in medical office setting preferred
2-3 years experience working in a business office
Previous experience with multi-phone lines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling systems
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a busy environment
