We are looking for a welcoming and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a healthcare office. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for patients, helping the office run smoothly through clear communication and efficient coordination.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome patients upon arrival, provide a positive first impression, and assist with the check-in process
Coordinate appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and update bookings as needed to support office flow
Answer incoming calls, respond to routine front office inquiries, and direct messages to the appropriate staff members
Maintain accurate patient information in office records and confirm details during each visit
Support front desk administrative activities such as document handling, form collection, and general reception coverage
Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointment timing, office procedures, and next steps before and after visits
Help keep the reception area organized and prepared for daily patient traffic
Work closely with clinical and administrative team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements:
Prior experience in a medical reception, medical front office, or similar patient-facing administrative role
Demonstrated ability to schedule appointments accurately and manage a busy calendar
Strong customer service skills with a detail-oriented and courteous approach to patient interaction
Comfortable handling check-in procedures and other front desk responsibilities in a healthcare setting
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing patient information
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment while balancing multiple tasks
