Compass Associates are proud to be partnered with one of the fastest growing radiation protection organisations in the UK on the search for a certificated Medical Physics Expert (MPE) to join their expanding team. Following a period of significant growth and a recent office move, the business has trebled in size over the last 18 months and continues to strengthen its diagnostic and compliance services across the UK. This is a key appointment for the team, where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of the medical physics function, support a varied client base, and help shape the next phase of the company’s development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver MPE services across a varied client base, particularly private hospitals and private medical practices, in addition to potential involvement in NHS work
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance and radiation protection within healthcare settings
  • Manage and develop client relationships, ensuring a high-quality, user-friendly service
  • Contribute to business development by exploring new areas of service delivery and client engagement
  • Option to support or lead on RPA duties, depending on experience and certification

Requirements:

  • Certificated Medical Physics Expert (MPE)
  • Adaptable, client-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Capable of explaining complex physics and compliance matters clearly to non-specialist audiences
  • Background in healthcare, diagnostics, or veterinary environments is advantageous
  • Open to working on site as required, with a flexible and proactive approach
