We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Payment Poster with significant expertise in posting Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the revenue cycle function at a leading healthcare organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Post payments, adjustments, and denials from insurers and patients into the system with speed and accuracy
  • Reconcile Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and paper Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) with outstanding claims
  • Identify and correct posting errors to ensure proper allocation of funds
  • Collaborate with billing, collections, and denials teams to resolve payment discrepancies
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date payment records and documentation
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations and other financial reporting as needed

Requirements:

  • Vast experience working as a Medical Payment Poster, specifically with posting and reconciling ERAs
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing software and electronic claim systems
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and revenue cycle terminology
  • Excellent data entry skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
