Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, customer‑focused Medical Patient Access Representative to support our onsite operations during weekend hours on the North side of Indianapolis. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients by assisting with check‑ins, insurance verification, scheduling, and front‑desk support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and register patients in a professional, welcoming manner
  • Verify insurance coverage, collect co‑pays, and ensure accuracy of patient information
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Support patient flow and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
  • Document all interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment

Requirements:

  • Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient access experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
  • Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts Friday–Sunday
  • Basic proficiency with computers and EMR systems
  • Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented
