We are seeking a reliable, customer‑focused Medical Patient Access Representative to support our onsite operations during weekend hours on the North side of Indianapolis. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients by assisting with check‑ins, insurance verification, scheduling, and front‑desk support.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and register patients in a professional, welcoming manner
Verify insurance coverage, collect co‑pays, and ensure accuracy of patient information
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Support patient flow and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
Document all interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Provide exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements:
Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient access experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts Friday–Sunday
Basic proficiency with computers and EMR systems
Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented
