Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Southwestern New York. The facility reached out with an immediate need, and while details are still being finalized, we anticipate 8-hour day shifts and highly competitive daily pay.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive oncology care for inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage oncology treatment plans
  • Participate in consultations, follow-up visits, and ongoing patient management
  • Document care accurately within EMR systems

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
  • Active New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior locum tenens or hospital-based oncology experience preferred
  • Strong oncology care expertise
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Patient-centered approach to care
