Job Responsibility

Room patients
Take vitals/review patient history
Prepare and clean room for patient and get patient prepared for the physician encounter
Performs a variety of office-based testing and treatments related to patient care under the supervision of clinician care
Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospital and other ancillary medical treatments and tests
Resolve patient concerns promptly
Travel to all other IMS locations to cover as Needed
Daily schedule will reflect the regular working hours from 8-5pm
Travel to Quartzsite location included.

May administer medications in accordance with established policies and procedures or as directed
Use universal sterile techniques and personal protective equipment as always needed to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of patients for clinic, hospital and other ancillary medical treatments and tests
Responsible for communicating test results, patient instruction regarding durable medical equipment and home exercise programs to patients, where directed
Acts as a resource to clinical and non-clinical staff to provide optimal patient care
