Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide vital support to senior trial attorneys, ensuring seamless case preparation and management. Job Responsibility:

Assist senior trial attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
conduct thorough research and analysis related to medical malpractice claims
utilize case management software to organize and maintain legal files and documentation
manage billing functions and ensure accurate tracking of case-related expenses
prepare and file legal documents using systems such as Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
coordinate calendar management for court dates, appointments, and deadlines
facilitate claim administration processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
collaborate with internal teams to support the briefing process and trial preparations
communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal cases
monitor deadlines using tools like CompuLaw and ensure timely submission of required documents.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, with expertise in medical malpractice
familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) and case management software
strong skills in calendar management and tracking deadlines using tools such as CompuLaw
experience with claim administration and billing processes
excellent written and verbal communication abilities
detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
knowledge of courtroom procedures and trial preparation processes.
