Job Responsibility

Organize and summarize medical records for easy accessibility and reference
Liaise with expert witnesses in preparation for court proceedings
Prepare subpoenas and pleadings in compliance with legal standards
Conduct comprehensive and thorough legal research to support case preparation
Manage the production of documents ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Review medical records to identify pertinent information for cases
Analyze medical records to ensure comprehensive understanding of the medical aspects of the case
Prepare pleadings in medical malpractice cases ensuring all relevant information is included

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal with a strong focus on medical malpractice cases
Proven expertise in litigation including discovery, trial preparation, and case management
Proficiency with case management software and other legal technology tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage large volumes of documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and drafting legal documents
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with handling medical records and understanding medical terminology
A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting attorneys and contributing to case success

Job Responsibility

Organize and maintain legal files to ensure all records are accurate and easily accessible
Draft a variety of legal documents including pleadings, disclosures, interrogatories, discovery requests, and motions
Support attorneys with trial preparation including the execution and management of necessary documentation
Communicate regularly with clients to address inquiries and provide updates while also coordinating with experts as needed
Assist with general legal support tasks ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to legal standards
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence through both electronic and paper-based communication channels
Initiate and monitor the progress of medical records requests to support ongoing cases
Review, analyze, and organize large volumes of medical and legal records for litigation purposes
Ensure all medical documents are updated, accurate, and meet necessary requirements for legal proceedings
