Medical Laboratory Scientist

Working as a Medical Lab Scientist at our Critical Access Hospital, you'll perform a wide range of technical procedures analyzing blood and various body fluids in order to expedite the physician’s diagnosis and treatment of patients. You'll assist with quality audits in accordance with accrediting agencies. Technical duties will include routine patient testing, complex red cell antibody identification, and preparation of blood components for transfusion. Every interaction is an opportunity to improve your understanding of a patient's needs, the needs of your patient care team, or the needs of your facility. You'll advocate for your team as you support them in reaching their full potential, aligning with our operational goals and objectives. Work involves confidential patient diagnosis and test results, requiring the employee to respect the patient’s right to confidentiality.
