Job Description

Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab Outreach team at Baptist Medical Center. This is a full-time day shift at our Baptist MD Anderson location Monday - Saturday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. Outpatient lab work and specimen collection services are available at several Baptist Health locations throughout Northeast Florida.

Job Responsibility

Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results
Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers
Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures
Utilizing computer functions
