Strong laboratory background with experience working in the state of Florida with CLIA associates in Tallahassee, and under a Moderate Complex Lab
Associate's Degree
2 years Medical Technologist Experience
Licensed Medical Technologist Required
Or Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technician Required

Job Responsibility

Performing and overseeing testing procedures in chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, hematology, and some serology
Operating Beckman instruments and automation line for chemistry, hematology, and coagulation
Collaborating with a team of 7–8 Medical Technologists and four Specimen Processors
Serving as General Supervisor and acting as Charge Technologist when needed
Assisting with onboarding and training new employees and students
Maintaining technical records
Ensuring quality control
Supporting lab operations with minimal supervision

Bachelors in Clinical laboratory, chemical or biological science required

Job Responsibility

Performs general testing within the analytical core laboratory, including transfusion services
Provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance
