As a Medical Image Processing Engineering Consultant, you will play a key role in developing advanced algorithms and solutions that enhance medical imaging technologies. Working closely with radiologists, medical professionals, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the creation of tools that improve diagnostics and patient care.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and optimize image processing algorithms for various medical imaging modalities (MRI, CT, ultrasound, etc.)
Collaborate with radiologists and medical experts to translate clinical requirements into technical specifications
Implement machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to improve image analysis and interpretation
Conduct research to stay updated on the latest advancements in medical imaging technologies and methodologies
Validate and test image processing algorithms to ensure accuracy, robustness, and reliability
Document processes, algorithms, and tools to meet internal and regulatory requirements
Provide technical support and training to end-users of image processing software
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate image processing solutions into medical systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in medical image processing, computer vision, or related areas
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB
Familiarity with medical imaging software and standards (e.g., DICOM)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to have:
Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) is a plus
